Lamberts L-Ornithine 500mg, 60 Capsules
Amino acids are classified as either essential or non-essential. Essential amino acids cannot be synthesised in the body and must be obtained from the diet, whereas non-essential amino acids, whilst still essential for health, can be synthesised in the body and are therefore not classified as 'essential'.
L-ornithine can be made from arginine and so is considered to be a non-essential amino acid. Ornithine releases growth hormone and helps maintain the health of the immune system and the liver. It has similar properties to arginine since these two amino acids convert into one another in the body, as required.
• Prompts the release of growth hormone so can aid skin healing
• Appears to promote fat metabolism, although there is limited data on this effect
• It is a key component in the urea cycle and so is important for liver and immune function.
As with all our amino acids, Lamberts L- Ornithine is presented in its free-form for maximum absorption. Each capsule provides a full 500mg of L- Ornithine.
