We believe that the manufacturing process is the basis for the quality of a dietary supplement. Our goal is also to provide in a simple way the latest research findings regarding the connection between nutrition, nutrients and health.

Why the word Kenkou?

About our main supplier Lamberts Healthcare Ltd.

"...at the leading edge of responsible nutrition"

Lambert's product development philosophy is all about following science and proven experience. Lamberts develops and produces only products that contain the most effective nutrients. They also strive to, as far as possible, only develop new products that are based on nutrients where there is evidence-based nutrition research regarding the content, dosage and its effectiveness.

Lamberts was founded in 1982 in Tunbridge Wells, Kent which is located in the UK. They have quickly grown into one of the leading suppliers of dietary supplements in several European countries. In the UK, Lamberts supplies its products to both pharmacies and trained nutritional therapists, but has also in recent years made all its products available to the general public.

Lamberts offers a unique and extensive product range that includes a individual vitamins, minerals, herbal supplements, multivitamins/minerals, amino acids, liquid berry concentrate and essential fatty acids/oils (omega 3 / 6) as well as several other more specific combination preparations.

Lamberts manufactures all products themselves in the UK, under the same close supervision and quality control used in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals. They also follow the protocol known as "Good Manufacturing Practice" (GMP) and is the European quality standard for the manufacture of dietary supplements, among other things. This, together with the fact that Lamberts has permission from, and is under the supervision of, the British Department of Health, means that you as a customer can be confident that all products meet a very high standard and quality.

Lambert's products are sold in over 39 different countries around the world. The vitamin shop Kenkou is a representative of Lamberts in Sweden and a retailer throughout Scandinavia.

Many companies in Sweden often import products made cheaply in China or India and then just repackage the labels with Swedish texts and make customers think they were made in Sweden. The problem with this is that the product content has often not undergone the often expensive, but absolutely necessary, quality and safety checks that are needed. These are required to find out whether the product really contains the correct amount of the active substance and is free of heavy metals and other dangerous substances. These products, which are often price dumped and sold cheaply via mail order, have often been shown to be dangerous, but often in some cases also completely ineffective. This is because they often mix in so much filler material that there is hardly any active substance left. Often, in these cases, you would have to pour the entire can into yourself at the same time to get the correct dosage amount. You can also see on the label that they do not report in detail how much of the active substance the product contains, as well as which agent is used. Good products often contain rather long descriptions of the content where you can get detailed information about which filling materials have been used and an exact account of the active substances and which types of extracts have been used.

As Lambert's products are manufactured under such careful conditions and sold by both pharmacies and trained nutritional therapists in Europe, you as a customer can be sure that the product really contains what is written on the label. Should you as a customer be in any way not satisfied with the Lamberts product you purchased, we will always refund you the full cost.

More about Lambert's product philosophy

Lamberts offers an extensive product range of over 160 different products. We can proudly claim that we have one of the most complete ranges of nutritional supplements. All products are manufactured in Great Britain using carefully selected raw materials. Lambert's product philosophy is built on three cornerstones.

ACCURACY & QUALITY
The dosage and dosage amount of the active substance is what is essential. Quality only comes when attention is paid to the details. The lists of contents and the description of the product must always be accurate and correct. The products must contain exactly what is stated on the label. Lamberts will never be or become the cheapest brand on the market, but they will always be one of the companies that have the highest quality of their products.

SECURITY:
Lamberts always scrutinizes the raw materials used to make the product. Continuous literature searches are also carried out to investigate that there is sufficient safety data that clearly demonstrates that the selected substances are safe to eat. The raw materials themselves are also tested in several stages to ensure that they are free of heavy metals, mold or other harmful substances.

ECO-FRIENDLY:
Lamberts only sources its raw materials from approved sources. Lamberts has a policy of never using extracts from the plants/herbs that come from endangered species. Some products such as Hoodia, Pau D'arco and Devil's Claw will therefore never be included in the range, as it is difficult to verify that the origin of the raw materials is indeed not from species threatened with extinction.

Lambert's philosophy is that every individual ingredient used in product manufacturing is as important as the final product itself. This means that Lamberts meticulously tests all raw materials and additives to ensure that when the product is made, it will indeed contain the effective substances that the content declaration states. Nothing more and nothing less!

First, the raw materials are tested to find out their quality, degree of purity, and finally for their potency (efficiency). Then samples are taken of the product during the manufacturing process itself and finally careful checks are also made on the finished product. This extremely controlled manufacturing process is something that few manufacturers of dietary supplements can maintain. This is why Lambert's products are so widely used by nutritional therapists around the world.

Finally, Lamberts is a company of integrity. Some companies market their products with illegal statements such as that the product could cure severe chronic diseases or cancer, Alzheimer's disease or even HIV. You will never find such false and misleading information with us. Of course, we wholeheartedly believe that extra nutrients can be needed in all disease states, and that many substances can help both relieve symptoms and optimize health, but we only provide information about what the evidence-based nutritional research shows, which you can then decide for yourself.

We also always recommend our customers to consult trained nutritional therapists if they want more specific guidance on how the supplements can be taken to optimize their health. Feel free to write to us at if you want help in finding a trained nutritional therapist where you live. If you take prescribed medications at the same time, you should always ask your doctor and pharmacist before starting to take the supplements, as some substances reduce/affect the absorption of the medications. Likewise, some medications can reduce the body's ability to absorb nutrients, which is why they are best taken at separate times during the day.
